We are proud to announce that we have recently been awarded a grant for the automatic programming of multiplatform mobile applications project.
This grant is included within the INNOVA-CV and the INNOVATeiC-CV 2021 programs of the Valencian Institute of Business Competitiveness (IVACE)
of the Generalitat Valenciana and with the co-financing of the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
Description and Goals
The main goal of this project is to develop a software tool consisting of a mobile application generator (Integranova App Generator) that,
as its name already implies, it allows to obtain automatically generated mobile applications from conceptual models, without the need for
resort to traditional manual programming. To do this, taking as input a functional specification of a system (set of requirements
that define the business processes of an organization) allows to obtain a complete, efficient, usable mobile application that can be integrated
with other systems of the organization, which can be published in the AppStore both iOS and Android and, the main component
innovative, that is obtained in a fully automated way, dispensing with manual coding and avoiding the possibility of introducing errors.
Our new software will allow the generation of applications for mobile devices (apps) in a fully automated way
covering the following features:
- Simple and intuitive user interface.
- Multiplatform: iOS and Android.
- Security.
- Customization options.
- Interoperability: integration with other business platforms.
- Asynchrony.
- Responsiveness.
Project observable results
The result of the project is the creation of Integranova App Generator, a code generator for mobile device applications (apps).
Automatic code generation processes corresponding to mobile devices applications (apps), based on a conceptual model, will be integrated into
the Transformation Engine of our technology Integranova Model Execution System.
Thus, as a result of
applying this new Transformation Engine to a conceptual model, a correct and complete mobile application (app) is obtained
, which means,
that meets the specified requirements
in the conceptual model from which it is transformed.
That is reliable, meaning that it does not contain any defect that prevents its operation or that causes failures while it is being executed.
That is of quality, meaning that, it will be based on standards with functionality and performance adjusted to the needs (requirements) of the client.
The mobile applications generated automatically through our technology will meet the quality and reliability standards required to be able to
be published in the official stores: Apple Store and Google Play Store.
